Meet the Staff

Our staff are among the most talented individuals in the industry. It would be our pleasure to put our experience, passion and dedication to work for you.

Katrina Patterson- Competitive dance instructor

I have more than 20 years of dance experience and am very passionate about dance and look forward to sharing my knowledge of dance with your children. I have studied many different styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, poms, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater and competitive dance. I have gold, platinum, and national winning titles. I have also had an amazing opportunity to be able to tour through the summer of 2006 with the Joel Ruminers dance camp. I absolutely enjoy working with children and I am currently studying pre-med at Maryville University. I am looking forward to the opportunity of sharing my dance skills and the love of dance with your children. I hope to advance and polish their dance skills and provide them with a positive and successful dance experience.

Samantha Latham- Dance Instructor

I began dancing at the age of 3 and have training in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, pointe, and tumbling. I did competitive dance for many years; while I was on that team, I attended dance conventions where I took classes from many amazing performers/choreographers including Delaney Glazer, Maddie Ziegler, Tiffany Maher, and more. I was a Sundancer when I attended Southeast Missouri State University; in 2019, we became DTU’s D1 National Champions. Just recently, a local dance team took a choreography piece of mine to state where they ended up becoming state champions for the first time! Along my dance journey, I’ve also enjoyed teaching classes and working with students; my favorite part of working with students is sharing my love for dance with them and watching their personal growth. I’m so excited to be a Dance Fever instructor and look forward to the year!

Kristie Marnin- Dance Director

I starting working at Olympia in 2003 as the Competitive Gymnastic coach and Team Director and became the Gym Manager in 2008 and the Dance Director in 2012. I was very active in competitive gymnastics and dance as a child starting at age 3, winning many state and national titles. I have experience coaching gymnastics and dance to preschool age children through high school both at recreational and competitive levels for 30 plus years. I have more than 40 years of dance experience and have won special choreography awards at both the regional and national level. I  believe dance and gymnastics teaches good values, confidence and respect. I am happy to work in such a positive environment on a daily basis.
